The year 2025 is a crucial year for WING KAM as it follows the national policies and achieves transformation and upgrading. It is also the starting year for the company’s leadership team and business experts to break free from conventional thinking and develop new quality productive forces. During this year, the company has been advancing steadily towards the goal of developing low-pressure casting and gravity die casting technologies proposed in 2024. It is also continuing to expand the export-oriented external sales market by implementing the “going global” strategy proposed in 2025. The company participated in the 2025.04 German Hanover Exhibition organized by the Hong Kong government agency and the Canton Fair held in Guangzhou. It continues to optimize the company’s customer and product structure and enhance efficiency as its long-term development strategy.

Thanks to the hard work of all employees,WING KAM Company overcame numerous challenges in 2025 and made substantial progress in various strategic areas. As the company’s production and development bases, the Shijiazhuang and Dongguan factories achieved notable advancements in transformation, upgrading, and innovation. At the Shijiazhuang factory, copper casting quality significantly improved through optimized melting processes. For products with high demand and stringent performance and metallographic requirements, gravity casting was adopted, meeting both capacity and quality standards and securing important development opportunities. Inquiries from U.S. customers for copper alloy valve bodies and from European customers for ball valves led to successful orders after repeated quotations and tough negotiations. After multiple process adjustments, the first samples were successfully delivered, creating vital opportunities for the company. Throughout the year, the Shijiazhuang factory collaborated with the Shenzhen team to develop several complex, large-volume stainless steel castings and duplex stainless steel valve bodies. At the Dongguan factory, the low-pressure casting production line was successfully launched in the first half of the year, producing products such as water jackets, cylinders, machine tool chucks, robot housings, and internal-tooth aluminum rings. Product quality and production efficiency improved significantly. Combined with the mature gravity casting line, this established a metal-mold-based aluminum alloy casting process, enhancing the company’s market competitiveness. Through transformation and upgrading, Dongguan attracted visits and low-pressure casting orders from European customers, secured orders from a leading domestic enterprise in a specific industry, and garnered cooperation interest from clients in the military, semiconductor, and robotics sectors. Among new products, the aluminum alloy right upright column developed by the company weighed 180 kg, setting a new record for the heaviest casting. Several new products featuring copper or stainless steel cooling pipes embedded in aluminum components were also developed with ideal results. Both the Shijiazhuang and Dongguan factories achieved steady growth in output value and accumulated valuable experience in controlling defects in copper and aluminum alloy castings. In 2025, the company’s customer and product structure was optimized, with nine of its top ten customers coming from developed economies, and eight of them showing sales growth.

These achievements are the result of the united efforts, dedication, and collective focus of all employees. The company’s technical staff, sales managers, sales representatives, leaders of the two production bases, workshop directors, general manager, and shareholders have all witnessed the work and accomplishments of the past year. The company extends its gratitude to domestic and international customers for their support, to domestic suppliers for their assistance, and to every employee for their day-and-night efforts. These hard-won achievements deserve to be cherished, and we must remain humble and committed, remembering that a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. Congratulations to Mr. Wang Li Duo, the general manager of our company, on being awarded the title of “Outstanding Foundry Engineer” at the 7th Tianyang Cup. This selection was organized by the National Intelligent Foundry Industry Innovation Center. After multiple rounds of assessment, Mr. Wang was honored with this title based on his 23 years of experience in the industry and his research and technological innovations in sand casting, investment casting, gravity die casting, and low-pressure casting processes.

As winter melodies linger and glorious achievements are celebrated, the 40th Anniversary Celebration of the Hong Kong Foundry Association (HKFA) and the 2025 Annual General Meeting of members were grandly held at The Regent Hong Kong on the afternoon of November 11, 2025. This grand event not only witnessed HKFA’s glorious 40-year journey of perseverance and forging ahead through trials and hardships, but also rallied the mighty strength of all members to work hand in hand and jointly paint a blueprint for the industry’s future.

The first National Anti-Gravity Casting (Low Pressure, Differential Pressure) Innovation Forum was held in Shengzhou City, Zhejiang Province from October 18th to 20th, 2025.  In this meeting, the Machine Tool Chuck with material ZL114 produced by our Dongguan foundry won the “Gold Award for Excellent Castings” and the beam with material ZL205A produced by our Shijiazhuang foundry won the “Award for Excellent Castings”.

The Wing Kam Casting’s mid-year work conference in 2025 was held in Shenzhen, where all staff gathered to pool their wisdom and strength for the new development in the second half of the year.

 

From July 17th to 19th, the mid – year working conference of Wing Kam for 2025 was held in Shenzhen and Dongguan. The leaders of the Shenzhen company and the heads of various departments organized this grand event. Manager Shaojun Zhang of Shijia zhuang Wing Kam Bronze Foundry Co., Ltd. and all the employees of Dongguan Wing Kam Co., Ltd. were invited to attend this meeting. The conference was divided into two parts: work dialogue and departmental summaries. During the work dialogue, everyone compared their work in the first half of the year with that of the same period last year, summarized the progress and shortcomings in supplier cooperation, and analyzed and summarized the remaining deficiencies in the supply chain. Representatives from Wing Kam Bronze foundry Co.Ltd，and Dongguan Wing Kam summarized that in 2025, with the strong support of the Shenzhen company, they adhered to the path of transformation and upgrading, innovated in technology and operation methods, commissioned the Dongguan low – pressure casting production line, and invested in various automated equipment and tools, transforming production towards intelligence and automation. The technological innovation of the two bases has laid a solid foundation for their broader cooperation with Shenzhen company in the field of metal parts casting and forming.

At the meeting, General Manager Wang summarized the Wing Kam’s work in the first half of the year. He highly praised Wing Kam for achieving a 9% growth despite the unfavorable economic situation and expressed his gratitude to all employees for their efforts and to customers for their trust. At the same time, he required the Shenzhen company to closely cooperate with the two factories, continue to integrate traditional manufacturing techniques with the latest molding processes, and do a good job and pay attention to details in every project entrusted to us by each customer. The meeting also commended outstanding employees in the first half of the year, such as Comrade  Lingyun Wang, the leader of Dongguan Technology, and her young team. Comrade  Ziwei Wang, the manager of the Shijiazhuang Business Department of the Shenzhen company, and Xiaoxiao Qi and her team from Shijiazhuang Wing Kam Bronze Foundry Co., Ltd., who have made great progress in their work this year.

At the end of the meeting, all expressed their determination to resolutely implement the spirit of the meeting, and with greater enthusiasm and a more pragmatic style, spare no effort to complete all tasks. The convening of this mid-year meeting not only pointed out the direction for the company’s development in the second half of the year, but also stimulated the fighting spirit of all employees, laying a solid foundation for achieving the annual strategic goals.

2025.07.01 marks the 104th anniversary of the founding of the CPC and the 28th anniversary of Hong Kong’s return to the motherland. On this important festival, Shenzhen Wing Kam and Wing Kam Foundry (HK) Company were respectively invited to participate in the 104th anniversary of founding of the CPC symposium  hosted by member of the standing committee Shenzhen Hardware and Electronic Association and the Hong Kong Small and Medium-sized Enterprise Economic and Trade Promotion Association’s Return celebration activity. The company wishes the motherland ever greater prosperity and Hong Kong Special Administrative Region renewed brilliance.

The 137th China Canton Fair will be held at the Pazhou Exhibition Hall in Guangzhou starting from April 15, 2025. In April 2025, the U.S. government began to announce tariffs on global trading partners, including China, the European Union, Canada, and Japan. As of April 09, China and the United States increased their mutual tariffs from 34% to 104%. Sino-us trade has changed dramatically overnight, and the future is uncertain. The United States is an important market for WING KAM, and many American companies have maintained trade exchanges and good relations with WING KAM for many years. WINGKAM sincerely hopes that the two governments can solve trade disputes through dialogue, so that Sino-US trade can return to the normal track.

In this year, WING KAM actively promote transformation and upgrading, Our Dong guan and Shijiazhuang factory are actively carrying out technical transformation,  introducting new processes, new technologies, improving productivity and efficiency. At the same time, WINGKAM continues to implement the “going out” strategy. From March to April 2025, WINGKAM participated in the Hannover MESse in Germany, the 137th Canton Fair in China, and  Shenzhen Greater Bay Area Machinery Industry Exhibition ITES, etc. WINGKAM leaders have visited customers in Spain, Italy and other countries to understand customer‘s demand and expand new opportunities.

The Customs Tariff Commission of The State Council issued a notice to adjust the additional tariff measures on imported commodities originating in the United States

On April 8, 2025, the US government announced that the rate of “reciprocal tariffs” on Chinese imports to the US would be increased from 34% to 84%. The US move to escalate tariffs against China is a mistake compounded by a serious violation of China’s legitimate rights and interests, serious damage to the rules-based multilateral trading system, and serious impact on the stability of the global economic order. It is a typical example of unilateralism, protectionism and economic bullying.

In accordance with the Customs Law of the People’s Republic of China, the Customs Law of the People’s Republic of China, the Foreign Trade Law of the People’s Republic of China and other laws and regulations and basic principles of international law, and with the approval of The State Council, the Customs Tariff Commission of The State Council has issued a notice that as of 12:01 a.m. on April 10, 2025, adjusted the additional tariff rate stipulated in the Announcement of the Customs Tariff Commission of The State Council on the Imposition of Additional Tariffs on Imports of Goods Originating in the United States (No. 4 of the Tax Commission Announcement 2025) from 34% to 84%. Other matters shall be executed in accordance with Document No. 4 of the Tax Commission Announcement 2025.

China urges the US to immediately correct its wrong practices, cancel all unilateral tariff measures against China, and properly resolve differences with China through equal dialogue on the basis of mutual respect.
